Love Language

"Have you eaten yet?" as the most frequently asked question in my family, indicates that for me food is always so much more than just nourishing your body. In fact, I grew up with food as a 'Love Language' to make people feel welcome, create connection, affection and comfort for generations. And I am no exception in this.

Balance Balance Balance

However, a few years ago my body started giving me unpleasant signals. I was constantly tired, felt bloated and suffered from nasty infections. I suddenly arrived 'out of the blue' and hey, who invited mood swings and hormones to my party? After I went home with yet another prescription from my doctor and an unsatisfied feeling, it became clear to me that I was the one who had to find the right balance.

Food Lover, not a Food Fighter ;)

Why? Easy. Giving up good food was a 'no go', but I wanted to get rid of my discomfort and feel energetic and great. It was about time I found the key to becoming the most vital version of myself. I became a Food Lover not a Food Fighter ;). For now and forever.
