I wanted to lose weight and in the beginning, by adjusting my food, it went very well. In the end I got stuck somewhere. Together we looked at what caused this. Discussing more realistic expectations and focusing more on how I feel and my daily energy level has made me look at it a little differently. In terms of content:
It's not that I learned things about what I should/shouldn't eat. I had been eating fairly consciously for a long time. And this program was a confirmation of that. But having someone personally by your side really does make a difference. Taking pictures of EVERYTHING I ate worked very wel and was very powerful for me.
As a result, I became even more conscious of my diet, and snacking no longer happened 'unnoticed'. That, and the extra water intake in the morning combined with not eating after nine, were my personal game changers.
After having 5 children and being in pre-menopause, I wanted to invest in a sustainable eating pattern and lose belly fat. In three months, I lost 7 cm in waist circumference. This made me happy! Everything was feeling good again!
I know that if I stick to this, I don't have to 'go on a diet'. I will continue to slowly lose weight towards a beautifully balanced weight and appearance, and that's also the best way. I would like to learn more about supplements though.
For me personally, the greatest value was not in the information but in figuring out together what fits my lifestyle. I found it very nice to be 'shadowed' and encouraged in this by someone like Wendy.
